Key Qualifications:

• Current Florida license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, or Clinical Fellows ready for supervision
• Previous experience in school settings is highly desirable
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, students, and families
• Ability to create and implement individualized education plans and provide comprehensive speech/language therapy
• Commitment to the duration of the academic year (Start: August 4, 2026; End: May 28, 2027)
• Not accepting SLP Assistants or virtual candidates at this time

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, develop intervention goals, and provide direct speech therapy services to students
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams to support students’ academic and social success
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation per state guidelines
• Engage in consultation and training with teachers and parents
• Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and compliance-related activities as required by the district
• Adapt therapeutic strategies to meet diverse student needs
