Key Qualifications:
- Current Florida license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, or Clinical Fellows ready for supervision
- Previous experience in school settings is highly desirable
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, students, and families
- Ability to create and implement individualized education plans and provide comprehensive speech/language therapy
- Commitment to the duration of the academic year (Start: August 4, 2026; End: May 28, 2027)
- Not accepting SLP Assistants or virtual candidates at this time
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop intervention goals, and provide direct speech therapy services to students
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams to support students’ academic and social success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation per state guidelines
- Engage in consultation and training with teachers and parents
- Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and compliance-related activities as required by the district
- Adapt therapeutic strategies to meet diverse student needs
