Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP licensure or eligibility for state licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
- Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued
- Strong assessment, organization, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other education professionals and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Deliver evidence-based speech therapy in individual and group settings
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, special education staff, and families to maximize student success
- Monitor progress, adjust goals as necessary, and maintain accurate treatment records
- Educate staff and families regarding speech and language development strategies
