What you'll bring:

  • Active South Carolina SLP license (required)
  • Experience with school-based or pediatric caseloads, especially in elementary settings, is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of evidence-based therapy techniques for early learners
  • An ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Passion for advocating for students’ needs and fostering their growth

What you'll do:

  • Provide assessments, diagnostics, and direct therapy for students on your assigned elementary caseload
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with faculty and families
  • Monitor progress, maintain records, and communicate updates to stakeholders
  • Deliver engaging, age-appropriate speech and language interventions
  • Participate in team meetings, IEP reviews, and consultations as needed
  • Support teachers with strategies and resources to encourage communication growth in the classroom
