Key Qualifications:
- Active Maryland SLP licensure required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience working in Maryland schools preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a varied K-12 caseload with professionalism and empathy
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students across elementary, middle, and high school grade levels
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students’ needs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication goals
- Conduct assessments and maintain thorough records to monitor progress and compliance
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as an advocate for student progress
- Deliver evidence-based interventions while fostering a positive, inclusive school environment
