We’re seeking a dedicated speech-language pathologist (SLP-CCC) for a contract position, delivering vital speech services for the 2026–2027 school year. Essential Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current and active Maryland SLP license (required)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience in Maryland schools strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency with teletherapy platforms helpful (for VOCO consideration)
  • Commitment to culturally responsive, inclusive practices

Responsibilities in this Role:

  • Provide speech-language therapy services for PreK–5th grade students, meeting 60 service hours per month
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school staff and families
  • Conduct evaluations, assessments, and progress monitoring to inform instructional planning
  • Maintain clear, detailed documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to foster student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams

This contract opportunity starts August 2026 and runs through June 2027, offering a consistent 35-hour work week in a vibrant, supportive setting.
