Make a meaningful impact in education by supporting elementary students' communication development for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract opportunity engages speech-language pathologists (SLP-CCC) to provide services for students in PreK through 5th grade. Located near Denton, MD, this role focuses on delivering 60 service hours per month, with the flexibility of onsite work preferred but open to teletherapy (VOCO) for the right candidate.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Maryland SLP license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working in Maryland schools is highly preferred
- Familiarity with elementary (PreK–5th grade) student populations
- Proficiency with service documentation and compliance with state regulations
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Flexibility to collaborate in-person or through teletherapy (VOCO) platforms
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging speech-language therapy for elementary students
- Provide a caseload of approximately 60 service hours per month
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to optimize each student’s development
- Maintain detailed and compliant documentation of all therapy sessions and outcomes
- Support school staff with strategies to enhance communication in the classroom
This opportunity offers a stable, 35 hours/week schedule from late August through early June, allowing you to impact students’ lives over the full academic year. You’ll work closely with educational teams in a supportive environment committed to student success.
