Step into an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in an elementary school setting, working as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a contract role near Denton, NC. With immediate openings available for three onsite SLPs, you’ll provide essential support to students while collaborating with a dedicated educational team. The assignment is set to begin as soon as possible and will continue through the end of the school year. Both experienced SLPs (CCC) and newcomers, including SLP-CFs and SLPAs, are encouraged to apply. Hybrid work arrangements may also be considered.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field required
  • Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP or SLPA
  • ASHA CCCs preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFs) and SLPAs will be considered
  • Previous experience in a school environment, especially at the elementary level, is a plus
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt to a flexible caseload, with caseload and building assignments to be determined

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students, primarily within an elementary school setting
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress and IEP goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation and track student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student plans
