Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Bilingual proficiency required
  • Previous experience working in school-based settings preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Texas state licensure or eligibility

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct, culturally responsive speech and language therapy to a caseload of eight students
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Monitor and document student progress toward established goals
  • Consult with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student support
  • Maintain compliance with all school and state regulations related to therapy and documentation
