Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Bilingual proficiency required
- Previous experience working in school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Texas state licensure or eligibility
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct, culturally responsive speech and language therapy to a caseload of eight students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor and document student progress toward established goals
- Consult with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student support
- Maintain compliance with all school and state regulations related to therapy and documentation
