Step into a rewarding opportunity serving school-aged students in the Denver area for the upcoming 26/27 academic year. This contract-based position offers the chance to make a meaningful difference while working alongside other dedicated professionals within a supportive district environment. Work is strictly on-site, providing direct support and intervention to K-12 learners in a full-time role, Monday through Friday (37.5 hours per week). Assignments may span one or multiple schools within the area, with caseloads ranging from 25 to 45 students.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Colorado Department of Education certificate
  • Active Colorado SLP license required
  • Experience in school-based speech-language pathology is preferred; open to strong Clinical Fellows if supervision is possible
  • Background check and fingerprinting completion for district credentialing
  • Commitment to onsite-only service (virtual/remote work not permitted)
  • SLPA credentials are not accepted for this role

Your Role & Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students identified with communication disorders
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation according to district standards
  • Participate in and bill for district Professional Development days
