We are seeking a motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP or SLP-CF) to provide essential services in an engaging school setting starting July 27, 2026, through May 21, 2027. This contract role offers a fulfilling experience with a year-long assignment at an intensive pre-school classroom and a short-term leave coverage at a K-8 campus.
Bring your expertise and passion for speech-language pathology to an intensive pre-school team, where you’ll make a direct impact on children’s lives. This position also provides the opportunity to collaborate with and help supervise SLPAs, ensuring continuity of care and professional growth. Preference is given to professionals with ELL training or an ESL/LDE endorsement.
Key Qualifications:
- Active SLP license
- Active Colorado Department of Education (CO DOE) certification
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CF qualification
- Experience working in school environments preferred
- Familiarity with IEPs and progress monitoring
- ELL/ESL or Linguistically Diverse Education Endorsement is a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for students in an intensive pre-school classroom (full-year) and K-8 classroom (LOA coverage)
- Develop and implement individualized IEPs in collaboration with educators and families
- Monitor progress toward measurable goals and adjust strategies as needed
- Provide mentorship or supervision to SLPAs as assigned
- Maintain compliance with all relevant school and state regulations
