Step into an exciting contract opportunity supporting elementary students and making a real difference in their communication development. This full-time role is based at a single K-4 school, managing a manageable caseload of 33 students. If you have experience in pediatric speech-language pathology and are passionate about fostering meaningful progress with young learners, you’ll find this assignment rewarding and impactful.
Preferred candidates will be bilingual in English and Spanish to effectively support a diverse student body. Active CDE licensure in Colorado is required, however, candidates with a pending license are invited to interview. Your expertise in SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, school-based therapy, teletherapy, and pediatric care will provide valuable support for the students you serve. Please note this role is not open to SLPA applicants.
While primarily on-site, candidates with strong qualifications may be considered for a hybrid schedule, pending school needs and collaborative planning—ideal for those seeking a bit of flexibility in their week.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credentials
- Active (or pending) CDE license in Colorado
- Strong pediatric and school-based experience
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
- Comfortable using teletherapy platforms
- Demonstrated organizational skills and professional initiative
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech therapy services for elementary students
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans
- Maintain clear communication with staff and families
- Collaborate with educators and other professionals for integrated student support
- Document progress and comply with all relevant regulations
