Make a lasting impact in the lives of students as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) working on a contract assignment from August 11, 2026, through May 21, 2027. Located close to Denver, CO, this opportunity is ideal for professionals ready to bring their expertise to a supportive elementary school environment. You'll take on a dynamic caseload (TBD) with a standard weekly schedule of 37.5 hours, collaborating with teachers and educational teams to deliver outstanding speech and language services.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Valid SLP license in Colorado or eligibility to obtain credentials
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CFY)
- Experience in school-based settings and working with diverse student populations a plus
- Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Commitment to evidence-based therapeutic techniques and ongoing professional growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for students with speech and language needs
- Deliver direct therapy services, both individualized and in group settings
- Monitor student progress and maintain detailed documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and staff
- Educate and advise teachers and parents on strategies to support student success
- Adapt services as needed based on ongoing student evaluation and input
