Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Active Colorado Department of Education Certification
  • Valid Colorado SLP License (Speech-Language Pathologist, Speech Connectionist, or Speech Therapist, covering ages birth-21)
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to complete time-sensitive credentialing and background check as required by the district

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver onsite speech-language services to students with mild to moderate needs across one or more schools (assignments to be determined)
  • Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and document student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ communication development
  • Provide consultative services, in-class support, and direct therapy as indicated
  • Maintain accurate records and meet state and district compliance requirements
  • Serve as a resource for staff training and parent education regarding speech-language development

This contract runs from ASAP through late May 2027, with a consistent schedule of 35 hours per week.
