School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Denver, Colorado

This contract position starts as soon as possible and offers you the opportunity to guide students’ communication skills and set them up for long-term academic and social success.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid SLP-CCC certification and state licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
• Experience in school-based settings, especially with elementary and early childhood populations
• Strong skills in assessment, intervention planning, and therapy delivery
• Effective communication abilities for collaborating with staff, parents, and students
• Organizational skills to manage a dynamic caseload and maintain documentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students’ speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver direct therapy and consultative services to PreK and elementary students
• Work closely with classroom teachers, special educators, and families to support student progress
• Document assessments, progress, and session notes in compliance with state and district guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and school-based initiatives
