School Speech Language Pathologist - Denver, Colorado

Two contract Speech-Language Pathologist opportunities are available, each offering a full-time 37.5-hour workweek and the chance to provide essential support across early childhood and K-12 environments. Assignments will cover planned staff leaves at multiple sites, giving you valuable variety and engagement in your daily work.

Qualifications:

• Active Colorado Department of Education Special Service Provider License with Speech Pathologist Endorsement required
• SLP or SLPA in good standing and authorized to practice in school settings
• Previous experience working in school environments or with pediatric populations strongly preferred
• Ability to manage and adapt to varied caseloads and multi-site responsibilities
• Commitment to completing background checks and fingerprinting as part of district credentialing

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to students, collaborating with teachers and families to support communication goals
• Conduct evaluations, develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), and maintain thorough documentation
• Serve one of two tracks:
  • Position 1 based at a Child Development Center, providing consistent services Monday through Friday
  • Position 2 balancing between two elementary sites, with 2.5 days at each location per week
• Consult with school teams to maximize student participation, learning, and social integration
• Adapt therapy plans as needed to address unique student needs and evolving site requirements
