Qualifications & Experience

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license and certification
• Previous experience in school settings strongly preferred
• Familiarity with elementary, middle, and high school populations
• Ability to assess and address diverse speech, language, and communication needs
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to upholding ethical standards and student confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students at multiple grade levels
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy in both individual and group settings
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings, school staffings, and professional development as needed
• Provide resources and guidance to help parents and educators facilitate language development
