Key Qualifications:

  • Current and valid license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Experience working with school-aged populations in elementary, middle, or high schools
  • Ability to develop, implement, and track individualized treatment plans
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with teachers, families, and support staff
  • Comfort working with diverse student populations and adapting to various school environments
  • Commitment to ethical, effective interventions and positive student outcomes

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for students referred for speech-language concerns
  • Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and targeted therapy plans
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy in individual or group settings
  • Consult and collaborate with general and special education teachers, administrators, and families
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Educate and support staff and families on communication strategies to enhance student success
  • Travel between school sites as needed to provide services across age groups
