High School Licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Denver, CO

This full-time, contract opportunity offers the chance to work primarily with elementary and high school students presenting with mild to severe speech and language challenges. The position covers the remainder of the school year and is suitable for professionals ready to travel, bringing their skills to a collaborative, student-centered setting.

You’ll partner with staff, families, and other service providers to deliver high-quality speech-language therapy onsite. The role prioritizes in-person services, though candidates interested in remote work may be considered. Please note that Clinical Fellows (CFs) are not being accepted at this time.

Qualifications:

• Active CDE (Colorado Department of Education) license/certification required
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
• ASHA CCCs or equivalent state licensure
• Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
• Comfortable managing elementary and high school caseloads with students ranging from mild to severe needs
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Flexibility to travel as part of assignment

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and deliver speech-language therapy to students in elementary and high school
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Monitor student progress, updating goals and collaborating with educational teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold compliance standards
• Support family engagement and staff training related to student communication needs
