This full-time position runs through the end of the school year and involves direct support for students with needs ranging from mild to severe. Onsite professionals are highly preferred, although there may be consideration for virtual (Voco) candidates with the right experience—please note that Clinical Fellows (CFs) are not being considered at this time.
Qualifications:
- Active CDE certification is required and must be available prior to start
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Previous experience serving mild to severe populations, particularly in elementary and high school settings
- Proven skills in IEP development, speech/language intervention, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to work full-time throughout the school year on a contract basis
- Strong preference given to candidates open to onsite work; possible flexibility for qualified teletherapists
- Comfort working within a diverse student population and adapting strategies accordingly
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students on a varied caseload, focusing primarily on elementary and high school groups
- Develop, implement, and track individualized education plans (IEPs) for a range of communication needs
- Partner with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student growth and inclusion
- Maintain meticulous documentation of services and student progress
- Participate fully in campus-based meetings and collaborative problem-solving teams
- Be flexible in supporting school initiatives and the broader needs of students
