Key Qualifications:
- Active CDE (Colorado Department of Education) certification is required
- Valid SLP license and appropriate endorsements
- Demonstrated experience in both elementary and high school caseloads
- Skilled in managing students with a range of disabilities, from mild to severe
- Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Willingness to travel as needed within the region
- Onsite candidates prioritized; highly skilled virtual SLPs may be considered
- Not accepting candidates in Clinical Fellowship (CF) year
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students, fostering communication growth and academic success
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators, families, and other service providers
- Deliver services mostly to elementary and high school students across a range of needs
- Participate in eligibility assessments and contribute to IEP meetings
- Maintain thorough and accurate records in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Support student progress with evidence-based interventions and innovative approaches
