Key Qualifications:
- Active and current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certification required
- Experience serving elementary, middle, and high school populations
- Familiarity with IEP development, assessment, and progress monitoring
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and students
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing environments in different school settings
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ speech, language, and communication abilities using standardized methods
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with student needs and educational goals
- Provide both direct and consultative services to students across various grade levels
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive student support
- Maintain accurate documentation of progress, assessments, and treatment outcomes
- Communicate effectively with families, sharing progress and offering strategies for at-home support
