Key Qualifications:

  • Active and current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • ASHA Certification required
  • Experience serving elementary, middle, and high school populations
  • Familiarity with IEP development, assessment, and progress monitoring
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and students
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing environments in different school settings

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ speech, language, and communication abilities using standardized methods
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with student needs and educational goals
  • Provide both direct and consultative services to students across various grade levels
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive student support
  • Maintain accurate documentation of progress, assessments, and treatment outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with families, sharing progress and offering strategies for at-home support
