Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Derby, KS

This opportunity focuses on assisting primarily middle school students, with the potential of working with elementary ages as well. You’ll play a crucial part in helping students develop their speech and language abilities, working closely with educators and families.

Role Details:

• Contract assignment with an expected schedule of two days per week: Wednesdays and Fridays (approximately 15 hours total).
• Assignment begins August 11, 2026, and continues through May 19, 2027.
• Caseload is currently being finalized, with a likely focus on middle school and possible elementary students—specific assignments will be clarified as the role develops.
• Work sites are still being determined but will be within the school system and involve collaboration with diverse educational teams.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required.
• Current state SLP license must be active and submitted with your application.
• Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
• Flexibility to adapt to different age groups and environments within the school system.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative, student-focused approach.
