School Speech Language Pathologist - Derry, New Hampshire

A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP or Clinical Fellow) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) seeking a long-term contract with the possibility of permanent hire. This school-based role near Derry, NH, offers a chance to make meaningful impact in the lives of students from a variety of backgrounds. With a schedule running from 7:15 am to 2:15 pm (32.5 hours each week, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch), you’ll have the structure to support a healthy work-life balance.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid state license or eligibility as an SLP, SLP-CFY, or SLPA
• Experience in school settings preferred
• Expertise in pediatric speech-language caseloads
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and technology (for remote or hybrid services)
• Proficiency providing direct services, and for SLPs, conducting evaluations and creating IEPs
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Open to both new graduates (CFYs) and seasoned clinicians

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language services to students in accordance with IEPs
• For SLPs: Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations, develop treatment plans, and document progress
• For SLPAs: Deliver therapy under SLP supervision, track session data, and support program implementation
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student goals
• Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to the educational team, and engage in ongoing professional growth
• Support teletherapy sessions as needed
