Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Des Plaines, IL

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid SLP-CCC credential required
• Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt therapy plans for a range of student abilities and ages (K-8th)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy services to students with diverse speech and language needs
• Conduct evaluations, develop IEP goals, and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings
• Provide consultative support to teachers, staff, and families
• Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and legal requirements
• Inspire and engage students of varying backgrounds and abilities
• Participate in staff development and ongoing professional learning
