Starting August 12, 2026, and continuing through November 3, 2026, you’ll play a crucial part in facilitating communication access and enhancing educational experiences for students at the high school level.
As a traveling SLP, you’ll provide essential support, focusing on evaluations and collaborating with dedicated staff teams at seven schools in the area. Your work will make a real difference, empowering staff and students alike—yet without the responsibilities of maintaining a single, specific caseload.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Hold a valid SLP - CCC credential
- Previous experience supporting schools, especially at the high school level
- Comfort working across multiple school sites
- Knowledge of and experience with assistive technology is highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional education teams
Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting speech-language assessments and evaluations
- Advising staff on evidence-based practices and intervention strategies
- Supporting implementation of assistive technology for communication needs
- Traveling to and collaborating with staff at seven area schools
- Consulting with educators and families to ensure student success
