Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for the upcoming school term. Two positions are available, each offering a chance to make a direct impact on student communication skills in a supportive educational environment.

Position 1: Located in Lake in the Hills, you'll work with a caseload of 16 students over approximately 15 hours per week.
Position 2: Based in Morton Grove, this assignment focuses on 9 students, with a workweek ranging from 5 to 7 hours.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) issued by ASHA
  • Valid state licensure for SLP practice in Illinois
  • Previous experience providing speech therapy in a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt therapeutic approaches to diverse needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver direct and indirect therapy services in accordance with student IEPs
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student progress
  • Document student performance, maintain therapy records, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
  • Utilize evidence-based interventions to foster communication, comprehension, and language development
