Step into a meaningful opportunity supporting students in grades 6-8 as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract position covers a maternity leave from August 11, 2026, through November 6, 2026, and is ideal for professionals seeking a flexible, part-time schedule while making a lasting impact. You’ll work three days per week with a manageable caseload of approximately 40 students.

Your expertise will help students develop essential communication skills, providing vital support as they navigate an important academic phase.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Active state licensure for speech-language pathology
  • Prior experience in a school setting is a plus
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Comfortable managing a middle school caseload

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individual and group therapy sessions to support speech and language development
  • Conduct assessments, interpret results, and update individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Track progress and collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff
  • Offer expertise during IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Provide engaging, evidence-based interventions tailored to grades 6-8
