Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Active state licensure for speech-language pathology
- Prior experience in a school setting is a plus
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Comfortable managing a middle school caseload
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group therapy sessions to support speech and language development
- Conduct assessments, interpret results, and update individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Track progress and collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Offer expertise during IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Provide engaging, evidence-based interventions tailored to grades 6-8
