Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting high school students with low-incidence needs. This role focuses on delivering speech-language pathology services within a collaborative school environment near Des Plaines, IL. Beginning August 12, 2026, through October 13, 2026, you'll work with a manageable caseload of 30 students and contribute to student growth during a pivotal academic period.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Valid and current Speech-Language Pathologist license
  • Prior experience in a school setting, particularly with high school students
  • Strong background working with low-incidence populations is preferred
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities
  • Ability to adapt approaches to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Dependable, professional, and team-oriented mindset

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 30 high schoolers
  • Assess, document, and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with educators, therapists, families, and support staff to promote student progress
  • Maintain comprehensive records and progress notes in compliance with school and legal standards
  • Support students using evidence-based interventions in both group and individual formats
  • Contribute actively to IEP meetings and help shape educational goals

Schedule: Choose between 8:00 am – 3:30 pm, or 7:30 am – 3:00 pm to fit your preference, Monday through Friday.
