This full-time position is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of middle and high school students. This assignment covers an FMLA leave beginning August 17, 2026, and running through September 15 (with a possible extension during the transition). You’ll work a consistent schedule from 7:45 am to 3:15 pm, totaling 35 hours per week.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid SLP licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Solid background in SLP Healthcare and Pediatric settings, especially within schools
- Experience working with middle and high school students preferred
- Skilled in conducting initial and re-evaluations for students with diverse needs
- Excellent collaboration and communication abilities with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and therapy services to a caseload primarily consisting of 9th-grade students, alongside some 6th-8th graders
- Complete and document initial and re-evaluations for students as required
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and support staff for student-centered service provision
- Monitor progress and adjust therapy approaches as needed to ensure student success
- Maintain thorough and accurate records in accordance with school and regulatory requirements
