A wonderful contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC credentials to support students during a leave of absence. This full-time role is designed for those who are passionate about helping high school students develop their communication abilities within an engaging and supportive educational environment.
This short-term assignment runs from approximately August 10 to September 10, providing an excellent chance to make an immediate impact and gain rewarding experience in a dynamic school setting. Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Valid SLP-CCC certification.
- State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Previous experience working with high school students preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to high school students.
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs.
- Collaborate with faculty, parents, and special education teams to support student progress.
- Maintain thorough records of student evaluations, treatment, and outcomes.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as needed.
- Foster a positive and encouraging therapeutic environment.
