This contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist passionate about supporting middle school students. You'll work with 6th to 8th graders, focusing primarily on students with IEPs and a small group of speech-only, non-special education students, helping them achieve their communication goals throughout the full school year.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid licensure and certification (CCC) required
- Experience delivering both in-person and teletherapy services preferred
- Previous school-based SLP experience, especially with middle school populations
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
- Comfortable writing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students, both individually and in groups, 0.4 to 2 days per week on a consistent schedule
- Develop, implement, and update therapy goals for students with IEPs in accordance with federal and state regulations
- Conduct assessments, write evaluation reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Maintain detailed records of progress and session notes
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to promote students' success
- Deliver services in person and/or via teletherapy platforms as needed
