Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Desoto, TX

Key Experience & Skills:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for CFY
• Previous experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare-related SLP settings strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of teletherapy platforms and digital documentation requirements
• Ability to administer screenings, evaluations, and develop targeted IEP goals
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working alongside educators, families, and other professionals
• Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist

Responsibilities Include:

• Conducting screening and comprehensive SLP assessments for students
• Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans (IEPs) aligned with educational goals
• Delivering both in-person and teletherapy interventions as needed
• Tracking progress and maintaining accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Consulting teachers and families regarding strategies for supporting students’ language development
• Participating in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
