Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active Texas license as an SLP
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
  • Prior experience providing speech therapy in school settings
  • Strong documentation and organizational abilities
  • Capacity to travel between one or two close-knit campuses as assigned
  • Dedication to fostering a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech, language, and communication interventions to students from August 2026 to May 2027
  • Manage a caseload of students at one or, occasionally, two assigned schools within the district
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to create individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain meticulous weekly timelogs for director approval
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development as needed
  • Contribute to a supportive and student-focused educational environment
