Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) near DeSoto, TX:

Are you a dedicated SLP with a passion for helping children? A school district in DeSoto, TX, in partnership with Soliant, is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to determine student needs.
  • Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans and IEP goals.
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students individually and in small groups.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication goals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with school and state requirements.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility determinations and service planning.
  • Create a supportive, inclusive environment for students with speech and language disorders.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or in progress.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Passion for working with children and helping them overcome communication challenges.
