Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to an engaging school-based setting in Niceville, FL, just north of Destin in the scenic Panhandle. This contract opportunity for two on-site Speech Language Pathologists starts August 11, 2026, and continues through June 1, 2027. Enjoy a dynamic, educational environment while supporting students’ communication skills—all in a full-time role (up to 37.5 hours per week) at a single school location.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Florida Department of Health Provisional SLP License required
  • Previous school-based experience highly preferred
  • Must be able to work on-site (no virtual/remote options)
  • Familiarity with diverse student needs across elementary and pre-K age groups
  • Successful completion of Florida fingerprinting (or transferable prints via AHCA Clearinghouse)
  • Ability to secure a JLA badge prior to start (allow up to 10 business days)
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to students at either Northwood Elementary or Southside School (PreK) in Crestview
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in partnership with educators and parents
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary teams
  • Advocate for student communication needs within the educational setting
