Step into an exciting contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist serving school communities in the beautiful Panhandle region. Full-time roles are available for on-site SLPs starting August 11, 2026, and running through June 1, 2027. Assignments may be at a single campus or itinerant between two locations, supporting a variety of student age groups. Each caseload will be tailored and finalized during your interview, ensuring the best match for your skills and interests.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Florida Department of Health Provisional SLP License
  • Demonstrated experience in a school setting is strongly preferred
  • Ability to work on-site only; virtual options are not offered
  • Availability to fulfill up to 37.5 hours per week for the duration of the school year
  • Flexibility for placement at either one school or across two campuses

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy to diverse student populations, ranging from early education to young adults
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments, deliver direct and consultative services, and document student progress
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise to support student success

Credentialing & Onboarding:

  • Candidates must successfully complete or verify valid Florida district fingerprint clearance (check for reciprocity through AHCA Clearinghouse)
  • Upon background clearance, JLA badge processing is required (may take up to ten business days)
