School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Destin, Florida

You'll provide onsite assessment, intervention, and support to students ranging from PreK to age 22. Based on your preferences and caseload needs, you may work at a single campus or serve two locations, ensuring varied and meaningful experiences every day.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Active Florida DOH Provisional SLP License (required)
• Previous school-based SLP experience (strongly preferred)
• Fingerprints must be on file through the AHCA Clearinghouse, or you’ll be required to complete a new background screening
• Passion and skill for working with children and young adults of diverse backgrounds and abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
• Develop and implement IEP-driven therapy plans tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
• Document results, maintain confidentiality, and adhere to all compliance standards
• Serve as a resource and advocate for effective communication in the school community
