Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • State licensure in Michigan (or eligibility)
  • Previous experience in educational or adolescent settings strongly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Innovative, adaptable, and comfortable working with diverse student populations

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy to middle and high school students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations as needed
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and maintain progress documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student growth
  • Participate in IEP meetings, provide recommendations, and communicate progress to stakeholders
  • Adapt interventions to meet a range of needs and utilize creative, evidence-based approaches
