Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Detroit, MI

Empower students in K-12 settings to reach their communication goals as a Speech Language Pathologist working on a dedicated school-based team. This contract opportunity offers flexible, part-time hours (3.75 hours per day) and welcomes experienced SLPs, Clinical Fellows, and SLPAs interested in working with pediatric populations. What you’ll bring:

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Active Michigan SLP license
• Preferred experience working within schools or with pediatric caseloads
• CCC-SLP is a plus, but new graduates (CFY) are encouraged and will receive guided supervision
• Proficiency or interest in teletherapy services is welcomed
• Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills

Your responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide therapy to students in grades K-12
• Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
• Provide services onsite and, where appropriate, through teletherapy
• Support IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
• Foster positive rapport with students, encouraging growth and self-advocacy
