Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Detroit, Michigan

This contract opportunity allows you to join a collaborative team environment focused on creating meaningful outcomes for children, whether onsite or through virtual instruction. Multiple full-time positions are open, with SLPs and SLPAs encouraged to apply.

In this role, you’ll work part-time hours (3.75 hours daily, totaling 18.75 hours weekly) throughout the academic year. You’ll collaborate with educators, families, and a supportive professional team to deliver speech and language therapy services that inspire growth and confidence in students across grade levels.

What you bring:

• Michigan Speech Language Pathology license (required)
• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Experience in schools preferred, but clinical fellows are welcome—supervision provided if needed
• Comfort with teletherapy platforms (a plus)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with diverse K-12 populations

Key responsibilities:

• Assess and provide targeted speech and language therapy to students across K-12 settings
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Maintain required documentation, progress reports, and communication with families
• Partner with teachers and support staff to maximize student outcomes
• Participate in meetings and professional development opportunities
