Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by providing speech-language therapy services through a contract opportunity in an educational setting near Detroit, MI. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about helping children succeed, whether you’re an experienced clinician or completing your Clinical Fellowship Year. Both on-site and teletherapy (voco) SLPs are encouraged to apply as interviews are actively being scheduled.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active CCC-SLP or eligibility for CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year)
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for Michigan
  • Experience working in pediatric or school-based settings preferred
  • Comfort and proficiency with teletherapy platforms for remote service delivery
  • Ability to evaluate, diagnose, and create effective treatment plans for students with various communication disorders
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments for students identified with communication needs
  • Develop and implement IEPs and evidence-based intervention strategies
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to support student learning outcomes
  • Maintain compliance with all district, state, and federal requirements for documentation and reporting
  • Provide direct therapy through in-person or virtual (voco) sessions, based on assignment and student need
  • Participate in meetings, consultations, and professional development as needed
