Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and best practices for student therapy
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy services to students with diverse needs, from initial assessments to individualized therapy sessions
• Develop, implement, and update student treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
• Conduct formal and informal assessments to evaluate students’ communication abilities
• Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to optimize student support
• Participate in IEP meetings, offering insight and recommendations for student progress
• Maintain up-to-date records and documentation, ensuring compliance with district and state requirements
