This position begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the current school year, with potential for full-year coverage. Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders or related field
  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Active state licensure (Michigan or eligible to obtain)
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP process and special education procedures
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to quickly adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech-language screenings, assessments, and evaluations for students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students individually and in small groups
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support generalization of skills
  • Monitor progress and update documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP and multi-disciplinary meetings as required
