Pediatric School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Detroit, Michigan

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the remainder of the school year in the Detroit, MI area, serving a K-12 educational setting. This contract position focuses on providing high-quality speech and language therapy to students across various grade levels within the school system.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs.
• Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
• Monitoring and documenting student outcomes and adjusting therapy plans as needed.
• Participating in IEP meetings and providing recommendations for speech and language goals.

Preferred qualifications and experience:

• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
• Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings.
• Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in speech-language pathology.
• Familiarity with school-based therapy practices and compliance with educational regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
