Desired Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license for Michigan with full Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working in school-based settings; previous work with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) populations preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage caseload effectively and work independently as well as collaboratively
- Commitment to upholding the values and goals of the educational team
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language assessments and individualized therapy to a caseload of 40–55 students in an ASD setting
- Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with instructional staff and parents
- Provide evidence-based interventions, therapy sessions, and progress monitoring
- Maintain accurate records, document progress, and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Contribute as an onsite team member, partnering closely with other educators and specialists
