Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) from ASHA
  • Michigan state licensure or eligibility
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload
  • Exceptional organizational and documentation abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students’ goals
  • Provide both direct and consultative services to students with speech and language disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams for optimal student support
  • Monitor progress and adjust interventions as necessary, keeping accurate documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning for students
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive atmosphere that celebrates student achievement
