What You’ll Need:
- Active Michigan SLP license (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in school settings preferred
- Ability to work full-time (35 hours/week; 7-hour days) or part-time with consistent, full days
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to supporting student growth and success
Your Role and Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language services to a range of K-12 students
- Complete evaluations, develop IEPs, and implement targeted therapy sessions
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, staff, and families to best support each student’s needs
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with all state and federal requirements
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive school culture
