Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Previous experience working in school-based settings preferred
  • Knowledge and understanding of IEP processes and compliance
  • Ability to support students with a range of speech, language, and communication needs, especially with young learners
  • Strong collaboration and communication abilities with staff and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group speech and language therapy to students in four self-contained classrooms
  • Assess communication abilities, document findings, and develop targeted treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to foster inclusive educational experiences
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional input on student progress and therapy recommendations
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with state and federal guidelines
  • Offer guidance and support to faculty and families regarding speech and language development
