Step into a dynamic school environment near Detroit, MI, where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist can truly make a difference in the lives of young learners. Exciting contract opportunities are available for two full-time SLPs for the upcoming academic year. This role provides the chance to support an elementary-aged caseload—including some self-contained classrooms—in a collaborative and welcoming setting. The position covers the school year from August 22, 2026, through June 6, 2027, with a consistent commitment of 37.5 hours per week.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Previous experience in pediatric or elementary school settings highly preferred
  • Strong communication skills with students, staff, and families
  • Capable of developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation requirements
  • Adaptability to serve both general education and self-contained populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to elementary students in both pull-out and in-classroom models
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify student needs
  • Develop personalized goals and treatment plans tailored to each student's abilities
  • Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and state policies
  • Provide education and resources to families and teachers to support student progress
