Key Qualifications:

  • Current Michigan SLP license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience in school-based environments strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with staff, students, and families
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations in accordance with state guidelines

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students according to prescribed IEPs
  • Conduct timely, comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations as needed
  • Develop and implement effective intervention strategies tailored to student needs
  • Maintain detailed documentation on student progress, session notes, and compliance with state and federal requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and engage in ongoing communication with families and school teams
  • Collaborate across disciplines to support holistic student development
