Key Qualifications:
- Current Michigan SLP license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in school-based environments strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with staff, students, and families
- Ability to conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations in accordance with state guidelines
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students according to prescribed IEPs
- Conduct timely, comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations as needed
- Develop and implement effective intervention strategies tailored to student needs
- Maintain detailed documentation on student progress, session notes, and compliance with state and federal requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and engage in ongoing communication with families and school teams
