This position, starting November 5th and extending through February 2027, offers a chance to help shape the communication growth of early-on-age students in a school-based environment near Detroit, MI. You’ll work full-time, with an engaging 37.5-hour work week, collaborating alongside passionate educators and families.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP license for Michigan or eligibility to obtain one
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Experience or enthusiasm for pediatric speech-language therapy in educational settings
- Knowledgeable in assessment, intervention, and documentation for early childhood services
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions to early-on-aged students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate the best possible outcomes
- Maintain clear records and progress reports in accordance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and interdisciplinary team activities
- Empower students by fostering confidence in their communication abilities
