Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting young learners as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist! This position, starting November 5th and extending through February 2027, offers a chance to help shape the communication growth of early-on-age students in a school-based environment near Detroit, MI. You’ll work full-time, with an engaging 37.5-hour work week, collaborating alongside passionate educators and families.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active SLP license for Michigan or eligibility to obtain one
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
  • Experience or enthusiasm for pediatric speech-language therapy in educational settings
  • Knowledgeable in assessment, intervention, and documentation for early childhood services
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions to early-on-aged students
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate the best possible outcomes
  • Maintain clear records and progress reports in accordance with school and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and interdisciplinary team activities
  • Empower students by fostering confidence in their communication abilities
