School Speech Language Pathologist - Detroit, MI

Desired Qualifications:

• Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
• Previous experience within school or healthcare-based settings valued
• Adaptability to work with students from preschool through high school
• Strong collaborative and communication skills
• Ability to provide services to both general education and special needs populations, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Cognitive Impairment (CI) programs
• Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language assessments, interventions, and support for diverse learners across four buildings
• Serve students in grades 3–5 (general education), K–8 (potentially preschool and high school), as well as those in ASD and CI programs, ensuring individualized care
• Deliver therapy sessions, collaborate with teachers and other professionals, and participate in multidisciplinary teams
• Develop and maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
• Effectively communicate with families and staff to foster student growth and success
