Speech Language Pathologist in Detroit, MI

Qualifications:

• Valid license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Experience delivering SLP services in schools, with proficiency in teletherapy platforms
• Prior experience within Michigan schools is strongly preferred
• Michigan fingerprint clearance is highly desirable
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Ability to effectively engage and collaborate with students, staff, and caregivers remotely

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy sessions to students via teletherapy, targeting individualized education program goals
• Consult with teachers, support staff, and families to guide communication development and strategies
• Document student progress and maintain records that comply with district and regulatory standards
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute to student success plans
• Coordinate with a designated on-site proctor, ensuring seamless service delivery and student engagement
