Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active license as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Michigan
  • Experience working with students across a broad age range (K-12)
  • Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
  • Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Previous school experience preferred, though not required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to students in grades K–12
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations using standardized assessments and observations
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
  • Collaborate closely with general and special education teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Participate in IEP meetings, documenting student progress and updating goals as needed
  • Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions targeting a range of communication needs
  • Maintain timely and accurate records in compliance with state and district requirements
