Support students’ communication growth in a contract role serving a diverse caseload across elementary, middle, and high school aged youth near Detroit, MI. As a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll inspire learners from kindergarten through 12th grade to reach their full academic and social potential.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience providing speech/language therapy within a school setting strongly preferred
  • Skill in designing and implementing interventions for students at various developmental stages (K–12)
  • Confident working both individually and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication skills with students, families, and staff
  • Comfortable adapting approaches to address a broad spectrum of speech and language needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations for students in grades K-12
  • Develop tailored treatment plans and deliver direct therapy sessions
  • Consult with classroom teachers and other support personnel to integrate communication goals into daily instruction
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards
  • Participate in IEP meetings, progress reviews, and parent conferences
  • Help cultivate a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
