Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working with students in grades K–12
  • Strong collaboration skills to work with educational staff, parents, and students
  • Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
  • Ability to adapt communication approaches for diverse learning needs
  • Organizational skills for managing caseloads and documentation requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop and execute individualized treatment plans in line with IEP goals
  • Deliver direct therapy sessions across K–12 grade levels
  • Coordinate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and session notes
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings and consult on best practices for supporting language development
  • Educate and coach school staff on techniques to enhance classroom communication
