Your role will focus on delivering comprehensive speech-language pathology services within school settings, allowing you to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to help students achieve better communication and academic outcomes.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship (CFY) candidates welcome
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for K-12 students
- Provide both direct and indirect therapy services in collaboration with school teams
- Maintain accurate records of progress and communicate findings with parents and staff
- Utilize evidence-based interventions and adjust strategies based on student needs
- Engage in IEP meetings as needed, focused only on speech services
