Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current state license or eligibility to obtain one
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but CFY candidates will be considered
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is beneficial
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to create and execute individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Comfortable conducting assessments, developing goals, and maintaining accurate records

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate communication abilities
  • Develop, implement, and monitor progress of IEPs and therapy plans
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and school staff
  • Maintain thorough documentation and participate in relevant meetings
  • Offer training and resources to staff and families as needed
  • Stay current with best practices and compliance requirements within the school environment
