Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state license or eligibility to obtain (CCC-SLP preferred)
- Experience working with school-aged children (K-12) and a range of speech and language disorders
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school setting
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEPs
- Provide direct therapy and intervention to students individually and in groups
- Collaborate with teachers, aides, and parents to support student progress and generalization of skills
- Maintain thorough documentation of progress, therapy sessions, and assessments
- Participate in meetings, in-service trainings, and professional development as required
- Serve as a resource for staff on communication strategies and supports within the classroom
